In the period from February 1st to August 31st 2019 Reilley Bergin Wilson, a doctoral student at New York City University, was staying at the University of Bihać. Her research project entitled "Changing the Geography of Childhood in Bihać, Bosnia and Herzegovina" seeks to change the local mobility of children in relation to local, national and international circumstances. At the same time, her research sheds light on the impact of local childhood geographies influencing and building the future that children and adults envision as possible. With the support of the Una-Sana Canton Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Reilley collected stories from local children and their guardians, taking into account the broader context of social, political and economic circumstances. For the last few years, Reilley has been a frequent guest in our city to get to know the local community and has collaborated with the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Bihać. At the end of her stay in Bihac, Reilley shared her research results with students and staff of the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Bihać by holding lectures and workshops.
