A teacher at the University of Bihać became a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mechanic from Bihać Isak Karabegović became a corresponding member of the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina. His long and continuous research works in the field of mechanics, robotics, renewable energy sources and new technologies have placed him at the very top of the Bosnian scientific elite. Admission to ANUBiH made him one of the leaders in these areas in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Karabegović is the first member of ANUBiH from Bihać, which is of special importance. This important academic event represents a huge result not only for Karabegović but also for the University of Bihać, where he has been working hard for several decades.

Isak Karabegović has been working in higher education since 1978. He is the founder of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Bihać in 1996 and a year later the University of Bihać. At the same time, he is credited with the transformation of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering into the Technical Faculty of the University of Bihać in 1999. He is also the founder of the Robotics Society of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
