Content and Qualifications
The master’s program in Wood Industry at the Department of Wood Industry, Technical Faculty, University of Bihać, is structured as a multidisciplinary academic program that integrates advanced knowledge in wood processing, product construction, modern technologies, wood protection, and design, alongside engineering principles and industrial management. The program is conceived as an engineering-oriented academic study, offering students a dual educational pathway: the development of specialized expertise and research skills, coupled with the ability to apply this knowledge in industrial and market-driven contexts. Students are equipped to comprehend the complex demands of the wood industry within the framework of contemporary ecological standards, sustainability imperatives, and global market dynamics. Particular emphasis is placed on the development of new wood-based products through the application of state-of-the-art technologies, as well as on mastering production optimization processes, encompassing knowledge areas such as industrial organization, quality management, product design, and technical standardization.
