Upon the invitation of the Center for Development Evaluations and Social Research CREDI from Sarajevo, University of Bihać joined the European social survey ESS BiH research network. ESS-BiH Research Network is a network of universities and other research institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina under the coordination of CREDI Center that brings together researchers in the field of social research with the mission of strengthening research capacity and promoting cooperation between social science researchers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

The first meeting of the Academic Council of the ESS BIH Research Network was held in the premises of CREDI Center in Sarajevo with the online presence of a number of members, on October 20, 2020. The meeting was organized to discuss further activities of the ESS-BiH network, and was organized as part of the celebration of World Statistics Day.
