For the first time, the University of Bihać has introduced a fully online student application and enrolment system through a new digital platform, marking a significant step forward in the modernisation of its admissions process. The platform was developed as part of the final-year project of Eldar Džanić, a student in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of Technical Engineering, under the supervision of Senior Teaching Assistant Zinaid Kapić. The project exemplifies the successful integration of academic knowledge with practical application. It also demonstrates that, alongside their academic studies, students at the University of Bihać gain valuable practical experience by working on projects that benefit both the University and the wider community. The new platform provides a streamlined and user-friendly application and enrolment process. Through its modern and intuitive interface, prospective students can explore the University's faculties and study programmes, select their preferred and alternative study programme, and complete the entire application process online. The system supports the submission and processing of applications and supporting documents, real-time tracking of application status, the generation of final admission rankings, and transparent communication between applicants and the University's student services. Following the completion of the enrolment process, the platform continues to serve as a central communication hub, providing students with timely information and easy access to important announcements throughout their studies. The digitalisation of the admissions and enrolment process has significantly improved efficiency, reduced administrative procedures, and provided prospective students with a faster, more transparent, and more accessible application experience.
