Senior Assistant Redžo Hasanagić, MA, was awarded with the Bilateral Scholarship for the academic year 2019/2020 by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia. During the period of three months, Hasanagić will stay at the Faculty of Biotechnology, University of Ljubljana, where he will have the opportunity to continue his research as a part of his doctoral dissertation. His research project is entitled “Mathematical modelling and optimisation of parameters of thermal modification of structural wood and their impact on bending and tensile strength”. In addition, he will work on testing different methods of thermal modification and exposure of wood in different operating conditions.

Redžo Hasanagić, MA, is also one of the participants in the joint scientific research project for the 2019/2020 academic year entitled “Modelling the impact of the preparation process of thermally modified wood on its physical and mechanical properties and durability” with professors from the Technical Faculty in Bihać and the Faculty of Biotechnology in Ljubljana.
