As part of the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility Programme, the University of Bihać welcomed a delegation from the Technical University of Sofia, further strengthening the successful cooperation between the two partner higher education institutions. During their visit, the delegation toured the Biotechnical Faculty of the University of Bihać, where they were introduced to the faculty’s teaching activities, research projects, and development opportunities. The programme also included a meeting with the Rector of the University of Bihać, Prof. Dr. Atif Hodžić. The meeting focused on the achievements of the cooperation established through the Erasmus+ programme, possibilities for expanding academic and research collaboration, the exchange of teaching and administrative staff and students, as well as joint participation in future international projects. Both institutions expressed their commitment to further developing their partnership and exploring new opportunities for cooperation in areas of mutual interest. In addition to the official programme, the delegation had the opportunity to discover the natural and cultural heritage of the Una-Sana Canton, contributing to the promotion of this part of Bosnia and Herzegovina and further strengthening the friendly relations between the partner institutions. The visit of the Technical University of Sofia delegation continues the activities initiated during the Erasmus+ Staff Week programme held in Sofia at the end of May this year, which was attended by representatives of the University of Bihać. These mobility activities play an important role in strengthening international cooperation, exchanging knowledge and experience, and enhancing the quality of educational, research, and administrative processes, in line with the University of Bihać’s strategic commitment to internationalisation and active engagement in the European Higher Education Area.
