The University of Bihać, i.e. respective Faculties of the University faculty have their own libraries (approx. 300 m2)  with a certain number of library units in printed form. There are reading rooms at each Faculty, and students are also able to use Cantonal and University Library in its full capacity. Beside access to printed materials, these facilites also provide accesses to electronic data bases, either directly or through NUL Sarajevo (National and University Library).

Students of the University in Bihać are mostly oriented to the use of the Cantonal and University Library which by its name and size suits the students’ needs, but organizationally is not in the structure of University. This is the consequence of Una-Sana Canton Government’s institutional policy, but under no ciscumstances does it mean that students’ needs are being neglected. Furthermore, this library to the maximum extent takes care of the population of students and of their needs and in the cooperation with the professors from the University provides desired literature.
