Programme Overview and qualifications
The second cycle study programme at the Department of Social Pedagogy and Spiritual Care is designed as a continuation of prior education and professional development, focusing on a deeper understanding of theories, research approaches, and intervention strategies in working with children, adolescents, and adults with behavioral disorders. Special emphasis is placed on developing professional competencies in treatment, resocialisation, prevention, and educational reintegration. The programme offers two modules: Social Pedagogy and Spiritual Care, and Social Pedagogy. It integrates contemporary research methodologies in the field of behavioral disorders, advanced models of client-centred practice, programme evaluation, and the development of professional standards.
Expected competencies
Graduates with a Master’s degree in Social Pedagogy, as well as those with a Master’s in Social Pedagogy and Spiritual Care, are qualified to lead complex intervention projects, design and evaluate prevention programmes, resocialisation initiatives, and treatment strategies, and to work across various fields related to behavioral disorders. They possess skills in critical analysis and strategic thinking in the context of contemporary challenges such as behavioral disorders, social exclusion, and the education of vulnerable groups.
