Programme Overview and Qualifications
Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession whose practitioners are expected to work in an open, collaborative, and equal professional relationship with other healthcare providers. Physiotherapists assess patients and then plan and implement therapy using various physical agents—including movement, electrical energy, water, heat, minerals, therapeutic mud, climate conditions, ultrasound, laser, and electromagnetic fields—in cooperation with the patient or client. The development of the physiotherapy profession across Europe and the world is marked by a growing body of knowledge and expanding scope of practice. In response to these evolving demands, the study programme has been designed to reflect current professional standards. It is aligned with the capabilities of students and the contemporary needs of the healthcare system.

Expected Competencies

They cultivate sensitivity to the unique needs and preferences of each patient and provide care based on identified or observed requirements.
