International Conference RIM 2019

From 18 to 20 September 2019, the 12th International Conference RIM 2019 will be held in Sarajevo. It is the largest and oldest international conference organised by the University of Bihać and the Technical Faculty. With a tradition of over 20 years, RIM has grown into a respectable event in which this time over 200 scientists, professors, experts from various fields from Europe, Asia and North America will take part.

This year, over 150 works from 7 thematic areas are expected, as follows: research and development of production systems and technologies in mechanical engineering; research and development of wood-industrial production; technologies and techniques in electrical engineering, electronics, computing and informatics; development of production in construction; modern techniques and technologies in the textile and clothing industry; high technologies of wider application; legal and economic frameworks for achieving European standards and sustainable development; environmental protection and quality system.

The Proceedings with abstracts of all accepted papers will be published in Bosnian and English and a certain number of original papers presented at the conference will be proposed for publication in one of two editions: "Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in Smart cities" (Springer) and "IT Technologies in Smart-Cities" (IET). In addition to the scientific part, several round tables from the business world will be held at the conference. More to the general sponsor of the USC Government, the conference, as last time, is followed by the Croatian Wood Cluster and other companies from the USC and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The opening of the conference will start with several keynote speakers who will present the latest achievements from the mentioned thematic areas of the conference. In addition, a significant number of participants are expected at the conference – students, researchers, academics, experts and practitioners – that will monitor and participate in the exchange of knowledge.
