Content and Qualifications
The study of Bosnian language with literature and History is organized as a multidisciplinary study programme which researches a historical development and norm of standard Bosnian language, interprets literary works of world, South-Slavic and Bosnian-Herzegovinian literature as well as expands the knowledge of History as a humanistic science with the special emphasis on South-Slavic and Bosnian-Herzegovinian historical context. The graduates of this study programme, besides the competence for working in primary and secondary schools as teacher of Bosnian language and literature as well as History, are also prepared for working in media services, publishing houses and different cultural institutes as editors, copy editors, proof readers publishers, etc.

Expected Competencies
Upon successful completion of the study programme of Bosnian Language with Literature and History, students will be capable of independently defining and analysing the basic linguistic phenomena and concepts. They will also develop ability to critically review the greatest achievements of Bosnian Herzegovinian, South Slavonic and world literature as well as to interpret significant stages and phenomena of history in the local and global context. In short, graduates of this programme will be able to apply the acquired theoretical and practical knowledge and give significant contribution to cultural life in the areas of language, literature and history.
