Participation of the staff of University of Bihać at the online conference APMS 2020 – Advances in manufacturing systems in Novi Sad

The online conference APMS 2020 – Advances in manufacturing systems was held in Novi Sad in the period from August 30 to September 3. It is one of the most prestigious conferences in the world in the field of production systems, and brought together leading international experts from academia, industry and government to discuss globally current issues such as smart manufacturing, operations management, supply chain management and Industry 4.0. The conference is divided into several sections with original academic papers focusing on applications published in the Springer Series ACIT, which are indexed in the SCOPUS and Web of Science databases.

Teachers of the University of Bihać also took part in the conference, and one of the most popular separate sections called Digital Transformation Approaches in Production Management was organized under the leadership of Bahrudin Hrnjica, Assistant Professor at University of Bihać. Bahrudin Hrnjica, together with his colleague Selver Softić from CAMPUS 02 University from Graz, also presented the work "Explainable AI in Manufacturing: A Predictive Maintenance Case Study".

Due to the pandemic caused by the Corona virus, the conference was held online, with sections and presentations of papers taking place via an open access internet link.
