The Faculty of Law of the University of Bihać is performing teaching, scientific research and professional activities with the aim of providing quality higher education at undergraduate and graduate levels (the first and second cycle of studies). The beginnings of legal education at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bihać date back to 1998, when the first generation of students was enrolled. The concept of ​​the Faculty of Law is based on academic freedom, autonomy of creativity, openness to the public, ethic integrity of teachers and associates, and alignment with the European system of higher education. The curriculum at the Faculty of Law of the University of Bihać is designed in such a way that it aims to develop the legal way of thinking and general legal culture of the students by including a wide range of different academic disciplines. The Faculty organizes and conducts classes in the first and second cycle of studies according to the Bologna system of higher education. The first cycle of study lasts four years and it consists of 240 ECTS credits, and the academic title that is acquired is Bachelor of Law. The second cycle of study (master’s degree) lasting one year consists of 60 ECTS credits and leads to the academic title of Master of Laws. The faculty has a well-equipped library, which, by the type and volume of material, provides the necessary support for the teaching and scientific research. The faculty has a permanent broadband Internet connection.
